Scott Tokar is a highly acclaimed corporate entertainer, emcee, and magician specializing in infotainment and visual communication. Scott is also particularly renowned for his expertise in tradeshow magic and sales meeting moderation. Unlike his magician peers, Scott's emphasis is primarily on the corporate sphere, limiting his performances from traditional venues like nightclubs and cruise ships.
From an early age of 7, Scott exhibited a natural talent for magic, delving into card tricks, coin illusions, and sleight of hand. At 16, he joined The Magic Castle’s Junior Program, receiving the prestigious Junior Achievement Award at age 20.
Scott holds memberships in esteemed magical organizations, including the Academy of Magical Arts (AKA The Magic Castle), The Society of American Magicians (As a Life Member), The International Brotherhood of Magicians (With Order of Merlin), and the exclusive Magic Circle in London as a Member of the Inner Magic Circle with a Gold Star (MIMC).
Scott's accolades include winning the First Place Trophy for Close-Up/Sleight of Hand Magic at the International Brotherhood of Magicians convention. and "Best Comedy Magician" at the I.B.M. "Strolling Olympics" through a popular vote by his peers.
Internationally recognized as a leader in trade show exhibiting and conventions, Scott serves as faculty With Exhibitor Magazine's ExhibitorLive meeting each year, instructing Certified Trade Show Managers (CTSM) and moderating round-table discussions.
In 2018, Scott launched a highly acclaimed "Masterclass" for fellow entertainers on the business of magic, titled "How to Make Six Figures in Magic," available on Ellusionist.com.
And, once again in 2024, you can find Scott in the current Guinness World Book of Records (a childhood dream) having set the record for the "farthest teleportation illusion" in Boone, IA at the Farm Progress trade show in the Corteva Agriscience exhibit.
